In my placement I have not seen the game of school played on the teachers part, but I have seen it in the students. The teacher is sure to keep each lesson exciting, interesting, and above all different from the lesson before. She does not want the students falling into a pattern where the lessons become monotonous. She integrates the SmartBoard lessons into whatever the topic of the day is. By using this technology in the classroom she is able to show interesting animations, videos, demonstrations, and review games to the class. In one of my observations some of the students were getting restless and trying to get the teacher off task but as soon as she pulled up one of the animated demonstrations on the SmartBoard they were all instantly drawn back into the lesson. When it comes to my own personal teaching philosophy I definitely will keep my lessons constantly changing, not only to keep things interesting for the students, but to also cater to all of the different learners that I will have in my classroom.
